OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
-The name of your out of character (OOC) account can be anything and have any symbols in it as long as it is not super long, and does not offend anyone.
-You must be at least 13 years old to join Wasted Skies.
-Do not harass other players. This is a simple rule. Stop means stop.
-The staff are your best friends. Be nice to them, and feed them waffles regularly. They are there to help you if you have any problems, so please don't make enemies of them.
-No fighting with other members, especially not in the cbox. If you're caught fighting in the cbox you will be immediately banned for three days without questions. In a second offense you will be banned for a week, and so on. If you and another member have a disagreement, you may PM a staff member to work it out.
-Please try and recycle your accounts regularly. That means that you should at least log into them even if you're not going to post. That way the staff know who's active. If you haven't logged on for 3 weeks your account will be deleted.
-No multiple names. For example, if someone has the name Larka, then you cannot sign up with that name.
-You can only have one OOC account, and up to three IC accounts. That means that you can only have up to three characters, unless awarded another.
-This is an advanced roleplay site, and we take that seriously. Make sure you have the experience to join us, please.
IN CHARACTER RULES
-Posts must be at least 300 words minimum. No exceptions, and no complaints. It's really not difficult.
-This is an advanced role play site which means that your posts should be literate and mostly free of spelling or grammar errors. Guess what, proboards has this really awesome spell check thing. You should use it!
-Liquid time is allowed, but that doesn't mean that you can be obnoxious and reply to every thread. Some people want to roleplay with more than the same character over and over again. And really, can you keep up with that many threads? If you're really behind, please, don't join more more threads. You're welcome to make as many threads as you like, but again, don't be obnoxious.
-OOC and IC are two totally different things and should be kept as such.
-No powerplaying/god-modding whatsoever. If you don't know what those are, then you probably shouldn't join this site. Also, no Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Again, if you don't know what those are, you shouldn't be here.
-Role playing is to be done in 3rd person, past tense only.
-Make sure that your character's speech, quotes, or thoughts are easily recognizable, whether that means that you put them in bold, italics, or change the color it doesn't matter. You won't be punished for this one, but it'd be greatly appreciated if you did it.
-Though this site is rated PG-13, you're not allowed to get graphic with your characters. Anything after kissing is fade to black.
-Each one of your characters should be on their own account on the In Character board, not the OOC. You should also not have an OOC account on the IC board. They're separate for a reason.
-Your character's account on the IC board should be the character's full name without any symbols or extra things. Just the name.The username can be whatever you want provided it's not vulgar, prejudicial, offensive, etc. But the display name for Susy Jane Jones would be Susy Jones.
GRAPHICS RULES
-Absolutely no stolen images. If you're caught, you will be severely punished. This is not taken lightly. Any reputation you may have will go straight down the drain, and gaining any trust back will take a lot of effort.
-No graphic pictures with nudity or excessive amounts of blood.
-Your avatar can not be over 100x100 pixels.
-Your signature can not be over 500x300 pixels.
-Tables can not be over 500 pixels wide.
-Your image must not be linked directly from another site. You must have it uploaded to photobucket, imageshack, tinypic, or any other image hosting site. If you do not own one of these, tinypic does not require membership and it's quite easy.
